Animal hair effecting heat pumps

Animals (dogs & cats) love to sit on or around heat pump and air conditioning outdoor units.(the big box thing with the fan in it outside)

This causes their hair to be dragged into the coils and block them very quickly meaning the unit come's under extreme pressure & costs $$ hundreds of dollars more a year to run and will cause the unit to fail if not cleaned.

It's a bit like turning your milk shake into a thick shake so when you try to get that flavoured goodness up the straw you nearly cave your face in cause it's really hard, this is what happens to the outdoor unit when it gets blocked with animal hair dirt air bourn particles.
