New laws for landlords

The govt has set a deadline of June 2019 for all rental properties to be up to a standard especially with insulation & a heat source.

The penalty for not achieving this is a $4000 dollar fine which is payable to the tenant.

We have now reached a stage where not all rental properties in NZ  can possibly get insulated in time so don't be caught without a chair come June.
