What HRV filter is right for me

HRV has two filter sizes, 300mm/295mm the New Plastic fan Box 

305mm/295mm the older steel fan box

It super important to get the correct filter as if there is a 5mm gape which you would get with the new filter size in the old fan system you may as well have no filter at all.

Supercell generation 1 will fit the steel FAN box HRV older model pre 2014

Supercell generation 2 will fit the newer plastic fan box post 2014

F8 is a grade of filter which has nothing to do with size or system.

The older HRV's use the F7, some people are fitting them with F8's which may be causing the fans to fail.

The difference between the F7 and F8 is extremely small but the F8 will cause a large pressure drop that can effect older fans,

The newer HRV is designed to handle the pressure drop from the F8 filter.
